It was bound to happen. The recent Y2K revival has brought back going-out tops, along with low-rise denim. If you're over 30, you no doubt remember them--those sexy, strappy, sometimes bedazzled and always bordering-on-bad-taste camisoles that Paris Hilton and her ilk wore while cavorting at night clubs.
They've resurfaced, most recently at Celine's Los Angeles show in shimmering gold and Versace's spring runway in sheer, beaded purple. Gen Z and TikTok are embracing this dated early 2000s look. But women who first wore them wonder what to wear for a stylish evening out.
