Virtus Diversified Income & Convertible Fund Announces Special Year-End Distribution and Discloses Sources of Distribution

HARTFORD (Conn.), Dec. 20, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Virtus Multi-Income & Convertible Fund (NYSE : ACV) announced the following year-end distribution of its common shares. This notice does not provide tax reporting information. The sources and amounts of distributions are only estimates. The Fund's actual distribution amounts and sources for tax purposes will depend upon its investment experience over the remaining fiscal year. These numbers may change based on tax regulations. Below is information about the Fund's performance as well as its distribution rates. All performance figures are calculated using the Fund's NAV, not the market price for the Fund shares. Performance figures do not represent individual shareholder performance. The average annual total return on NAV (AVER) is the compound return over the five-year period. Fiscal YTD Cumulative distribution Rate is the dollar value for distributions between the beginning of the fiscal year and this month's end (inclusive the special year-end distribution), expressed as a percentage the Fund’s NAV at month's end. Virtus Diversified Income and Convertible Fund, a closed-end fund with diversified objectives, seeks to deliver total return by combining capital appreciation and current income. It also provides downside protection from capital loss. The Fund aims to dynamically allocate among equities, convertibles, and income-producing stocks. The Fund invests at most 50% of its total managed assets in convertibles. It can also write covered call options for stocks in the equity section. A fund investment is subject to risk. This includes the possibility of losing principal. The shares of a fund may have a lower value than the amount paid by an investor. Closed-end funds' shares may trade at a premium, or even a discount to their net assets value. The Fund's annual report contains more information on the Fund's investment objectives and risks.
