St. Louis technologies firm, spun out of DuPont, expands global footprint

Elessent was founded last year by global chemical giant DuPont. It opened a new office in Jakarta, Indonesia, this month. Elessent, which has its global headquarters at 575 Maryville Centre Drive in Maryville Centre Drive provides process technology that it claims will help manufacturers reach sustainability and carbon neutrality. Elessent announced in a press release that it now has six Asia Pacific offices with its new office in Indonesia. Eli Ben-Shoshan is the CEO of Elessent. Elessent was established as a standalone company in 2021 after the acquisition of the Clean Technologies division by DuPont by private equity buyers BroadPeak Global LP and Asia Green Fund. The purchase cost $510 million. The new owners renamed Elessent to reflect the fact that the firm helps customers produce, optimize, or separate essential elements every single day.
