Senators to Introduce Bipartisan Bill Mandating Code of Ethics for Supreme Court

Angus King, I., Maine, and Lisa Murkowski, R., Alaska, will introduce a bill on Wednesday which would require that the U.S. Supreme Court create its own code within a period of one year. This follows media reports raising questions over whether Justices Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, and their disclosures.

King said: 'It is pitiful we have to introduce this legislation--it is pathetic that the Supreme Court didn't do this themselves.'
