NASA announced on Friday that it will replace two astronauts on an upcoming SpaceX flight to the International Space Station (ISS). The decision was made to accommodate the two astronauts who were already on the ISS, having arrived on Boeing’s Starliner which had some issues. NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, who launched aboard the Starliner in June, will replace Zena Cardman and Stephanie Wilson on the SpaceX mission. The SpaceX Crew Dragon mission, originally scheduled for August 18, has been rescheduled for no earlier than September 24. The decision to include SpaceX instead of Boeing is a setback for Boeing’s space program.
