Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips is set to undergo a medical at Ipswich Town ahead of joining the club on a season-long loan deal. The 28-year-old is set to spend the 2024-25 season on loan at the newly-promoted Premier League club after returning to City from a six-month loan spell at West Ham United in June. The midfielder is due to undergo a medical at Portman Road and finalize details of the move. Everton and Fulham also showed interest in securing a loan move for Phillips earlier this summer. Phillips would become Ipswich’s seventh signing of the summer window. He had limited minutes at City following his transfer to the club from Leeds and was not named in the preliminary squad for Euro 2024.
