The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is investigating a potential associated death linked to microdosing products from Diamond Shruumz. The FDA reported 48 illnesses in 24 states related to these products, with 27 individuals requiring hospitalization. Prophet Premium Blends recalled Diamond Shruumz products due to the possible connection to muscimol, a chemical found in Amanita mushrooms. Symptoms reported by affected individuals include seizures, muscle contractions, loss of consciousness, confusion, vomiting, and abnormal heart rates. Testing is being conducted on Diamond Shruumz products, and the FDA has identified the presence of synthetic psychedelic substances. The CDC advises consumers not to consume Diamond Shruumz products and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.
