Lordstown Motors and Fisker Successor Face Off in Bankruptcy Court

Fisker Automotive, the U.S. electric vehicle startup that was formerly known as Fisker Automotive, told a bankruptcy court that its lawsuit in 2020 against Lordstown Motors bankrupt should be allowed to proceed. This is especially true against defendants who aren't even part of Lordstown Motors' chapter 11 filing.

Fisker (now known as Karma Automotive) filed a motion with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of Wilmington, Del. on Wednesday to defend its right to pursue a $900,000,000 lawsuit for alleged thefts of trade secrets.
