Let's hear it for the Best Places to Work

Around 600 people gathered at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in San Francisco on May 4, to learn which companies won the Business Journal’s annual Best Places to Work Awards.

The SVBJ, in conjunction with the San Francisco Business Times and the San Francisco Business Journal, presented awards for five categories of size, as well as a wellness category. Quantum Workplace, the research partner of the Business Journal’s BPTW program, surveys employees to determine how they feel.

The companies did not know their rankings until last week. Akraya Inc. was the smallest company, followed by ANX Home Healthcare & Hospice Care (small), Athens Administrators and Farella Braun + Martel LLP.

The title sponsor Marsh McLennan Agency was the sponsor of this year's awards. Other sponsors included Cigna Healthcare (workplace wellness), Levi's Stadium Special Events, and other supporting sponsors.
