Judge Narrows Scope of Google Search Antitrust Case
The ruling did not affect some central parts of the antitrust cases about Google search, which are scheduled to go to trial next month.

A federal judge ruled this week that some claims made by the Justice Department against Google and a group states in antitrust suits could not be pursued. This narrows the scope of the trial, which is expected to be the largest federal monopoly case against a tech company in decades.
The decision was unveiled on Friday by Judge Amit Mehta of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. He dismissed four claims and allowed the government's lawyers to proceed with the other three.
