Consumer Technology Association drops Colorado from No. 1 ranking for innovation

In its "innovation scorecard," the Consumer Technology Association evaluated how states compare based on policies that govern emerging technologies, broadband, and STEM education. It fell from the top spot just a couple of years ago.

Colorado was rated highly for its tech workforce and its policies welcoming self-driving cars, drones, and advanced air mobility. Colorado was ranked third in the Consumer Technology Association's scorecard behind Washington and Massachusetts.
