Breeze Airways adding 7 new destinations from LAX

Breeze Airways, a low-cost airline, will add seven new destinations to Los Angeles International Airport in the next three weeks.

New services include nonstop service to Providence, Rhode Island, Raleigh-Durham in North Carolina, Jacksonville, Florida, Richmond, Virginia, New Orleans, and Norfolk, Virginia. There is also a flight that does not require a plane change to Hartford, Connecticut.

The new nonstop flights start at just $109 for one way.

Breeze offers Pittsburgh service from LAX.

Flying to Providence, Raleigh/Durham and Hartford begins May 17. Flights from Jacksonville to Richmond start May 18 and New Orleans to Norfolk on May 19.

The aircraft used is the Airbus A220-300.

Breeze, which will be launched in 2021, operates 150 nonstop flights between 36 cities across 21 states. David Neeleman founded the airline in May 2021. It operates a fleet consisting of Embraer 190/195 aircraft and Airbus A220-300 planes. The focus is on flying between secondary airports to reduce travel time.

Breeze does not charge any change or cancellation fees until 15 minutes before departure. It also offers free family seating, and offers a la carte pricing.
